Why does my counter go up every time I press Refresh?

Because you pressed Refresh, please stop asking about this. Unique visitor counting is a Pro feature.

I signed a guestbook and my entry has not appeared.

Every Tally2000 guestbook is moderated. Your entry is waiting for the page owner to approve it, if it has been a while it probably means your entry isnt approved.

Why was my shout not posted?

Shouts may not contain links, may not be too long, and may not be posted too often. At least one of these applies to you, I'm sure you can figure out which one if you think about it.

Can the shoutbox show more than twenty shouts?

No. Twenty is roughly what our servers can put up with, and we are not prepared to find out what 21 would do to them.

Why is my counter taking so long to appear?

Tally2000 is extremely popular and more servers have been ordered and will be fitted when they arrive.

Will a Tally2000 counter slow my page down?

No. In most cases the counter is the quickest thing on the page. If your page is slow, we suggest you look at your code, then at your modem, and then back at your code again.

My counter says the service is unavailable.

It means the service is unavailable, our errors don't lie.

I have forgotten my password.

We are unable to tell you what your password was. You are welcome to open a new account.

How do I get an account?

We can't allow new accounts at present, the widgets are very popular.
